03.25.08 — Animal Medical Hospital

This 2001 project doubled the space of the original 1960’s animal clinic, while updating the facilities both aesthetically and functionally.  The facility now houses nearly 2300 s.f. and includes a spacious lobby and reception area, four examination rooms, a large versatile treatment area, and surgery room.  Offices, storage, bathing areas, and kennels round out the facility.  The site now provides for ample parking for clients and employees, as well an outdoor kennel and exercise area for dogs.  The treatment and surgery rooms are spacious and well lit, the lobby provides for both dog and cat lovers, and the heating, air conditioning, and ventilation system keeps everyone (humans and animals) comfortable, while maintaining an odor free environment. The building profile and exterior materials blend nicely into the gradually slopping site using wood lap siding, deep roof overhangs, and ample windows and doors for great natural lighting.
