Preservation was the impetus for the extensive remodel of this historic building. In addition to making it earthquake safe, modern amenities and materials were integrated with original features to bring the building up to date. The building sits on the National Historic Register and the restoration efforts resulted in an award. Rob Saladoff was the project architect.
